Lifewaves Breath Awareness ~ an introduction to Mindfulness

Relaxation * Stress-Management * Meditation

This workshop focuses on discussion and guided practice of simple breathing exercises for cultivating a more relaxed, efficient, conscious breath as the foundation of Mind/Body Health Maintenance. * Relax the way nature intended * Discover the secret of your own breath *  A good introduction to the concept of "mindfulness", with tips on integrating this new found awareness into all daily activities. (participants may be seated in chairs)

 

Lifewaves Relaxation, Breath & Movement Awareness ~ the mind/body connection

An extension of the Breath Awareness workshop that includes simple, safe, gentle exercises for improving range of motion and flexibility. Discover a “new understanding” of movement, posture, and bodymechanics. An excellent introduction to Lifewaves Yoga.  (participants are seated in and standing around chairs)

  

Lifewaves Therapeutic Yoga Program ~ prevention, rehabilitation, maintenance 

small groups ~ individual attention

~Exploring Mindfulness: relaxation, stress reduction, breath, & movement awareness, posture & body mechanics in daily life

~ Yoga Movement is Fascia Movement: synchronizing movement & breath, "releasing" vs "stretching"

~Movement Exploration: discover your own body through safe, slow, easy, mindful movements & yoga postures, modified for each individuals specific needs or limitations
